We have launched a Gowanus Community Health Survey in partnership with Dr. Judith Zelikoff, an expert in toxicology and environmental health, based at NYU School of Medicine.  

The anonymous survey seeks to understand any potential health effects on our community of legacy toxicants like BTEX and TCE. The project also seeks to document what residents have experienced in our environment, including odors, dust, air quality issues, construction impacts, and how we have responded.

Dr. Zelikoff will be taking questions from the community about the survey and its significance in advocating for the safety and wellbeing of our neighborhood.
